Incident at A222 (Class F airspace violation, Alleged Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) infraction)

Summary

2003-03-05: Range control at CFB Suffield reported an unidentified, fixed wing red and white aircraft flying through the northwest corner of CYR 205. The aircraft was heading west to Highway 854. When contacted, the Edmonton ACC Controller confirmed an aircraft with a transponder set at 1200 at 3000 feet ASL in the area. Edmonton FIC did not have any information regarding a VFR flight in the area.
