Summary

2003-03-04: N53LB, a Lancair IV, arrived at Springbank after a flight from Pitt Meadows and slid off the side of Runway 16 approximately 2,600 feet from the threshold. No damage or injuries were reported. A PIREP at 1857Z from a landing aircraft had reported the braking action as poor. This report had been passed to the pilot of N53LB. The pilot later reported that the starboard main brake had failed on arrival.
