Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2003-03-10: UPDATE TSB reported that Skyservice SSV 351, a Boeing 757-200 (registration G-OOOZ) being operated by Air 2000 Ltd. (UK) for Skyservice, was en route to Calgary, and was in US airspace, when a female passenger experienced a medical emergency. She was reporting abdominal discomfort and her stomach was very distended. A doctor on board administered an anti-spasmodic drug and the aircraft was descended to reduce the cabin altitude to below the landing altitude, in order to reduce her discomfort. The flight was provided priority ATC service into Calgary and the pilot requested an ambulance meet the aircraft at the gate.
2003-03-03: SSV 351, a B757, was enroute to Calgary from Cuba when the crew advised of a medical emergency on board. They requested an ambulance meet the aircraft at the gate. Priority service was provided and SSV 351 landed on Runway 34 at 0254Z. No other a/c were inconvenienced.
