Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)


2003-02-17: After departing Runway 05 at 06:49Z SGK912 a Beech 100 returned to Thompson when they were unable to retract gear. The aircraft landed safely at 06:55Z.
2003-02-24: Maintenance and Manufacturing advised that the landing gear system was inspected and the nose gear micro switch was adjusted. A functional check of the landing gear system was carried out and the aircraft released for return to service.
2003-02-20: TSB advised that after takeoff from Thompson, the Skyward Aviation Beech 100's landing gear retracted but the red gear handle warning light remained illuminated. The crew recycled the gear but the light remained illuminated. The flight returned and landed withiout incident at Thompson. Company maintenance personnel adjusted an up-lock micro-switch, the landing gear was swung, and the aircraft was returned to service.
