Incident at YELLOWKNIFE NT (CYZF) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)
2005-08-16: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the hydraulic pressure line failed in the L/H engine nacelle area. Both 'A' system pumps and the line were replaced and addition system maintenance required by the maintenance manual following pump failure was completed.
2003-02-13: While enroute to Yellowknife, the crew of FAB 957 advised the Edmonton ACC Controller of a secondary hydraulic failure. Emergency Services in Yellowknife was called to standby and responded. FAB 957 landed on Runway 33 at Yellowknife without incident at 0458Z. The aircraft was towed from the runway, which was re-opened at 0506Z.
2003-02-18: UPDATE TSB advised that the First Air B737-200, FAB 957, registration C-GNDC, was en route from Edmonton,AB to Yellowknife,NT, when the flight crew reported the loss of the 'A' hydraulic system. Airport Firefighters were put on standby for the unevenful landing in Yellowknife. The aircraft was towed from the runway to the apron.
