Summary

2003-02-06: The First Air B727-200F, C-FUFA, was taxiing to the ramp at Winnipeg, MB, when the crew noticed a solvent odour from the cargo bay. The ground handling crew off-loaded the problem cargo canister and verified the cause of the odour. A liquid container was found to have cracked and spilled solvent within the cargo container. A precautionary inspection of the upper deck and pits was completed without any further sign of contamination.
