Incident at HIGH LEVEL AB (CYOJ)


2003-02-05: UPDATE TSB reported that the Lear 45 departed High Level and advised Edmonton ACC that the landing gear was stuck down. The crew requested a lower altitude to Edmonton and AFF on standby at the Edmonton International Airport, where the aircraft landed safely. Company maintenance reported that the fault was isolated to a stuck control valve. The part was replaced and the aircraft returned to service. An SDR will be filed with Transport Canada .
2003-02-03: C-FMGL, a Lear 45, departed High Level for Edmonton International Airport and at 0535Z, the crew advised Edmonton ACC that the landing gear was stuck down and they requested a lower altitude en route. They requested AFF be on standby at YEG. The aircraft landed safely at 0636Z. There was no impact on operations at YEG. TSB will be contacting the operator.
