Incident at GJOA HAVEN NU (CYHK)

Summary

2003-01-30: On approach to Gjoa Haven, the crew of KBA 516, an EMB 110, selected gear down, but only the nose gear green light would come on. The gear was cycled numerous times. After the crew did a low pass of the airport, the flight landed without incident. The cause of the unsafe indication is not known.
2003-02-07: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the aircraft was flown back to base with the gear down. The landing gear system was inspected and it was determined to be a indication problem associated with the indicator micro switch. Micro switch adjustments carried out, gear swings completed and the aircraft returned to service.
