Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)
2003-01-28: SSV 307, an A320, was 140 miles south of Winnipeg on a charter flight from Puerto Plata, when the crew advised Winnipeg ACC that they were 'unable delays due fuel'. The crew also requested spot winds for FL 200. When the flight was 25 miles south of Winnipeg, the crew declared minimum fuel.
2003-02-06: UPDATE TSB reported that the Skyservice A320 was on vectors for landing at Winnipeg when the projected fuel load reduced 100 kg below the required diversion fuel to the alternate. Minium fuel was declared and the crew continued to Winnipeg which was CAVOK. The flight landed with 40 kg of fuel more than the required diversion fuel load.
