Summary

2003-01-21: A flight attendant on Air Canada 850, a Boeing 747-400 enroute from Calgary to London Heathrow, became very ill with acute abdominal pain and was incapacitated. Two doctors on board the aircraft and med-link services determined that the best course of action would be a diverson to Winnipeg, 600 NM to the south. The aircraft diverted to Winnipeg where it was met by an ambulance.
