2003-01-16: C-GGKV, a Cessna 150, was on the takeoff roll conducting a touch and go at Saskatoon on Runway 27, when the engine quit. The aircraft stopped by the Runway 27/ Taxiway B intersection. The aircraft was pushed onto Taxiway B and the engine re-started at 2235Z. The aircraft was taxied to the hangarline. A Cessna 310 and another Cessna 150 had to divert to Runway 33 while Runway 27 was unavailable.
2003-01-20: UPDATE TSB reported that the Cessna 150-M was departing Saskatoon on a local training flight. As takeoff power was applied, the aircraft engine lost power. The aircraft stopped on the runway with no damage or injuries. The aircraft was subsequently pushed off the runway and the engine was re-started. Maintenance examination of the aircraft did not reveal any discrepancies, and the operator believes that the engine lost power because throttle had been advanced too rapidly.
