Incident at PRINCE ALBERT (GLASS FIELD) SK (CYPA)

Summary

2003-01-08: While taxiing for departure at Prince Albert, the scissor link broke on the main gear of C-FASD, a Cessna 402, disabling the aircraft on Taxiway Charlie. There was no impact on airport operations. The aircraft was removed at 1604Z.
2003-01-09: TSB reported that the Points North Air Services Cessna 402, was taxiing to the runway for departure from Prince Albert when the left main landing gear scissor released allowing the wheel to twist sideways. Damage was limited to the left main landing gear door. The aircraft was removed from the runway and prepped for a ferry flight back to the company's maintenance base in Saskatoon. Maintenance will be issuing an SDR to Transport Canada.
