Incident at YELLOWKNIFE NT (CYZF)

Summary

2003-01-14: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the aircraft's engine shut down during the landing roll out. This was probably due to a low idle setting that was set up during float season, and had not been adjusted for wheel/winter operation. Attempts to re-start the hot engine failed, and the battery was depleted, thus requiring the aircraft to be towed from the runway.
2003-01-07: A Cessna 185 experienced an engine failure after landing on Runway 15 at Yellowknife. The aircraft was pushed off the runway by an airport staff vehicle. One other arriving flight was delayed for a short period.
