Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-12-22: At 1456Z, C-GSCY, a BE36, departed Runway 33 Fredericton for a VFR flight to Quebec City. At 1458Z the aircraft advised he was returning to Fredericton due to a rough running engine. Assistance was offered by FSS, but declined by the aircraft. AFF was notified as per standards. The aircraft landed safely on Runway 15 at 1503Z. Traffic affected was a C-172 doing circuits on Runway 33, and switched over to circuits on Runway 27. The Be36 returned to apron area and the pilot checked over the engine, did high speed run-up, followed by 2 circuits, and no further problems were encountered.
