Summary

2003-12-12: CJT 620, B-727, missed approach runway 15 at Halifax due to significant windshear at 1200AGL. The pilot was unable to provide more details due to inability to read instruments related to associated turbulence. The flight returned to Moncton and landed withouth incident. TSB case closed
2003-12-16: TSB A03A0130 - The Cargojet Airways B727 operating as CJT620 was on final approach for Runway 15 at Halifax Intl when the crew elected to conduct a missed approach due to significant windshear at 1200 AGL. The pilot was unable to provide detailed information on the event because turbulence related vibrations made the instruments unreadable. The flight returned to Moncton and landed without incident. The crew filed a PIREP with Halifax FIC relating to the windshear. Winds reported at the time of the approach were from 160 magnetic at 23 gusting 36 knots. There had been no previous PIREPs of turbulence or low-level wind shear.
