Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
2003-11-21: Update - Maintenance and Manufacturing - 2003/11/21 - The Low oil pressure was caused by loss of oil that resulted from a 'loose' oil line at the engine. The Engine was inspected, The oil filter was removed and inspected. A new Oil filter was installed, the oil was changed and an the engine was run up satisfactorily. Upon return to home base, the oil filter was removed and verified to ensure integrity of the engine was not compromised. The aircraft has now been returned to service.
2003-11-20: At 1336Z FZVD a Bellanca 7GCBC was returning from training area 2 and reported low oil pressure. No assistance was required. At 1342Z, FZVD diverted to CG4 McEwan's Airfield. At 1345Z the aircraft reported on safely at CG4. The Moncton Fire Hall and Moncton Flight College were advised of all.
