Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-10-24: At 0309Z CME173 a B1900 en-route from Wabush to Moncton canceled IFR and commenced an overshoot to check out an indicator light. This occurred when the aircraft was approximately 1 Nautical Mile final at Moncton, At 0310Z, the pilot reported the problem was solved and the aircraft then returned for landing. The B1900 landed safely at 0314Z. No assistance was required.
2003-10-29: Update - Maintenance & Manufacturing - The Landing gear could not be lowered due to a malfunctioning switch. The Gear was then lowered manually.
