Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-10-16: At 0400Z, at a position 45 Nautical miles East of Fredericton, a Canadian Military EH10 Cormorant Helicopter (RSCU914) was on a flight from Greenwood to Sept-Iles when the helicopter called and requested a diversion to Fredericton to check something out on the aircraft. A few minutes later the flight declared a 'Pan' due to fumes in the aircraft. RSCU914 cancelled IFR and landed safely in Fredericton at 0436Z. The local emergency services were standing by.
