Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

Summary

2003-10-10: C-FGMG PA34 enroute Halifax to Charlottetown reported at aprox. 1750Z,40 miles south of Charlottetown, that aicraft had the mike stuck on Frequency 122.1 and approximately 4-5 minutes later pilot sqawed 7500. Com failure was suspected which was confirmed when Halifax FIC telephoned to relay a message from aircraft that pilot would be landing runway 21 with an ETA of 8 minutes. C-FGMG continued to squawk 7500 and landed at 1804Z on runway 21 in Charlottetown. Two other aircrafts JZA8846 DH8A and WOLF39 B412 choose to remain on the apron until problem aircraft landed and cleared. Nil TSB
