2003-10-14: TSB - Update - C-GGKS, an amateur built Wagaero aircraft was taking off from Whitehead pond when the engine failed and the aircraft was subsequently force landed in a bog. The floats sustained substantial damage during the landing. The pilot was uninjured.
2003-10-10: C-GGKS Wagaero homebuilt experienced engine failure while taking off from Whitehead Pond in Newfoundland. The aircraft crashed landed on a neraby bog. Pilot,soul occupant was uninjured. Halifax RCC alerted by St. John's RCMP and rescue helicopter dispatched to the site. TSB Case Closed
