Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-10-09: C-GYGC C172 was given instructions to remain south of the departure path of runway 29 due to departing IFR westbound traffic, while operating over the city of Moncton. No acknowledgement was received while a subsequent transmission with the same instruction was made and where the aircraft did acknowlegde. C-GYGC was later observed on radar flying northbound directly across the departure for runway 29, contrary to the instruction given and acknowledged by the aircraft. Nil TSB
