Incident at Deer Lake

Summary

2003-09-29: At 1553Z CFAJH contacted the Deer Lake FSS to advise that he was airborne off the river in Nicholsville (3 Miles west of the Deer Lake Airport). The aircraft was heading north for Bonne Bay Pond at 2000Ft. There had not been any prior contact from the aircraft to the Deer Lake FSS. The aircraft called clear of the Zone at 1553Z. There was IFR traffic arriving and departing the Deer Lake Airport at the time. The weather was VFR at the time.
