Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

Summary

2003-09-25: A PA31 departed Runway 21 in Charlottetown for Ottawa and reported a bird strike. The pilot had thought the gull hit the wing. The remains of one dead seagull were found on Runway 21. It appeared on inspection that the bird was struck by a propeller due to the cut up nature of the bird.
