Summary

2003-09-15: St. John's Tower received a report from the St. John's Fire Dept of a low flying aircraft that looked as if it was making a crash landing. The report was received from an individual who had called 911. St. John's Tower spoke to the individual who reported that the aircraft had crossed over his car in the area of Pitts Memorial Dr. in the Mount Pearl area. There was no aircraft overdue or missing. The Tower did have a VFR aircraft operating in the same area at the time. That aircraft landed St. John's airport at 2219z.
