Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2003-09-15: A Boeing 737 was in holding bay Taxi Alfa performing a high power engine run for maintenance. The Aircraft reported an oil leak and spill on the taxiway. AFF responded to clean up. ADM advised. There was no adverse effect on traffic. Aircraft towed to hanger at 1910Z.
2003-09-16: Update - Maintenance and Manufacturing - 2003-09-16 - During a post engine change high powered run-up,a leak was noticed from the overboard cowl drain.Upon investigation it was found that the A hydraulic pump was leaking. CanJet Maintenance cleaned up the spill and towed the Aircraft to the Hangar. The Hydraulic pump was replaced,and no leaks were detected on the second engine run-up. No further action required.
