Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2003-09-02: At 1135Z a BAe 146 (JZA8907) departing from Halifax for Ottawa was pushed back from gate #14 and advised ground control that a ground handler had caught his hand in the towbar. The airport AFF responded. The Aircraft then taxied at 1149Z and advised that the handler was going to hospital for x- rays but the injury did not appear to be serious. The Aircraft advised that there was a new safety feature installed on the towbar that the handler got his hand caught on.
