Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-08-18: On roll out from landing on Runway 33 JZA8872 a Dash8 from Dorval reported a bird strike in the vicinity of the intersection of the runways at 1854Z. The Fredericton FSS had the Firehall vehicle proceed out and retrieve a carcass of a small hawk from intersection. The pilot was advised of findings. There was no damage to aircraft. JZA8875 departed on schedule at 1920Z.
