Incident at DEER LAKE NL (CYDF)

Summary

2003-08-11: At 1853Z Canjet 737-200 (CJA185) departed runway 25 in Deer Lake, Newfoundland en route for Halifax. At 1856Z the pilot advised of a possible bird strike on departure. Maintenance was advised at 1856Z and at 1905Z reported finding the intact remains of two small seagulls on the runway. CJA185 was advised at 1905Z, the aircraft continued to Halifax.
