Incident at STEPHENVILLE NL (CYJT)
2003-07-25: Update - Stephenville Airport - Via CACO - 2003-07-25 - During the takeoff run, N930UC had a bird strike in the starboard engine. Takeoff was aborted and the aircraft returned to the Apron under its own power. There were no injuries to the 5 people on board.
2003-07-25: N930UC, an Israel Industries 1125 Westwind, aborted T/O on Runway 09 at Stephenville due to a bird strike. The aircraft taxied back to the Apron. There was no report of any damage.
2003-07-29: Update - TSB - 2003-07-29 - One of the engines required replacement due to the Birdstrike. The aircraft rejected Take off at about 100Kts.
2003-07-30: TSB - Update - 2003-07-29 - A03A0084: The Westwind Astra 1125 business jet was at 100 knots indicated airspeed on the take-off roll on runway 09 at Stephenville Airport when a seagull was ingested by the number two engine. The crew had seen the bird, and heard the impact. They rejected the take-off and taxied to the ramp area. The Garret TFE-731 engine had sustained damage to the compressor section and was replaced.
