Incident at J.A. DOUGLAS MCCURDY SYDNEY AIRPORT

Summary

2003-11-10: Jazz Update - JZA8813 a DHC8/102 departed from Sydney and the crew reported striking a bird. No adverse indications occurred and the aircraft proceeded to Halifax and landed without incident. The flight crew, and maintenance inspected the aircraft and no damage was found.
2003-07-21: On departure from Sydney, the crew of Jazz 8813 reported a 'real close look at a large bird'. Crew was unsure if the bird struck the aircraft. Sydney airport security reported finding a falcon 1000 feet west of the Taxiway J intersection with Runway 25. Sydney FSS notified the crew of JZA8813 and the flight continued to Halifax.
