Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

Summary

2003-07-21: A US Registered helicopter from Bar Harbour Maine entered the Saint John Control Zone and made an approach to land on the apron without calling the FSS. A taxiing aircraft spotted the helicopter and brought it to the attention of the FSS. The helicopter said he was talking to the Halifax FSS, and said he thought that this was who he was supposed to talk to. When Queried, the helicopter communicated on 118.5 (the MF frequency For Saint John).
