Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)

Summary

2003-05-30: A US Coast Guard C130 CG1503 was on ice patrol approximately 120 Nautical Miles South East of St John's when it declared an emergency. The crew shutdown the Number 1 engine due to a metal chip light indication. The aircraft returned to St. John's and requested CFR on arrival. The aircraft landed safely on Runway 16 at 1438Z.
