Summary

2003-05-20: An Airbus A330-200 TCX473L, which was enroute from Orlando to Manchester at 0407Z, with an approximate position of 4640N 42W, declared a medical emergency and requested a clearance to divert to Gander with a sick passenger. The aircraft was cleared as requested. At 0455Z the aircraft was in VHF contact with Gander ACC and requested to divert to St. John's. The aircraft was then cleared as requested and landed in St. John's without further incident at 0519Z.
