Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)

Summary

2003-05-14: At 1855Z Halifax Terminal advised Halifax Tower that TALN 94 a US Air force C130, which originally departed St. John's enroute to Dover AFB had declared an emergency. The aircraft had shut down one engine. The pilot stated that no assistance was required. The Airport Duty Manager was advised. AFF was advised and were in standby positions. The aircraft diverted to alifax and landed safely on Runway 33 at 1932Z.
