Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2003-05-14: In Halifax at 1800Z the Terminal advised that Trials11 a Canadian military P3 was returning to Halifax due to an electrical problem. The Pilot declared an emergency. The aircraft had originally departed Halifax at 1708Z on a round-robin trip. The Pilot requested no AFF vehicles in standby positions. The Airport Duty Manager was advised. (9 SOBs, 6.5 hrs. fuel) AFF was in standby positions. The aircraft landed safely on Runway 33 at 1831Z. No further assistance was required.
