Incident at 60 West Bathurst NB

Summary

2003-05-08: An Air Canada Jazz Dash8 Flight 8995 was enroute from to Bathurst to Dorval at a position 60 Nautical miles west of Bathurst when the aircraft requested a diversion to Moncton due to a 'Technical Problem'. The crew confirmed that no assistance was required. The aircraft landed in Moncton at 2105Z.
2003-05-15: TSB - Update - A03A0051 - Just at rotation the crew of Jazz Air flight 8995, registration C-FGRY, a Dash 8 aircraft IFR from Bathurst, NB to Dorval,PQ felt both stick shakers activate. The airspeed, altitude, and vertical speed were all normal and the crew continued the climb straight ahead on course and leveled off at 12,000 feet. As the weather at Bathurst was ceiling 200 ft, the crew requested a diversion to their takeoff alternate, Moncton, NB. No emergency was declared. The aircraft landed at Moncton at 1705 local time. The #2 lift transducer & the #2 stall computer were replaced, and the aircraft was returned to service.
