Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2003-03-03: A Cessna 172 entered the Fredericton Control Zone without clearance at 1952Z. The aircraft flew overhead the airport and entered the left downwind leg for Runway 09. The aircraft landed on Runway 09 at 1957Z. The Fredericton called the aircraft several times without any response. The Nordo aircraft later advised that he was transmitting on 119.0 (Fredericton Radio Frequency is 119.0) but heard nothing. The pilot assumed the frequency was unattended.
