Summary

2003-02-25: An Airbus A320 en route from Halifax, experienced windshear while on final for an ILS to Runway 29 in St. John's. The aircraft executed a missed approach due to an increase in airspeed and lift along with a GPWS warning. There was an active SIGMET warning of MDT to SVR Mechanical Turbulence below 4,000 feet due to strong gusty surface winds. The aircraft landed at 1832Z on its second approach. TSB - NIL
