Incident at J.A. DOUGLAS MCCURDY SYDNEY AIRPORT

Summary

2003-02-21: While on approach to Runway 07 a Dash8 reported a caution light that required the completion of additional checklists. The aircraft advised that a Runway 25 landing would be required because the caution light indicated a landing gear malfunction and they could not land with the tailwind of 8 knots that was present at the time. The aircraft landed at 2133Z without further incident. No further assistance was requested.
2003-04-23: Jazz Update - Hydraulic ISO Valve Caution Light Illuminated on the approach to Sydney. A ferry Flight was authorized to Halifax. The Right Hand Spoiler Valve was found at fault. The right hand Flight Spoiler Valve was replaced. A Leak check was accomplished and the aircraft was serviceable.
