Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX)

Summary

2003-01-21: A C17 Globemaster aircraft approximately 30 Nautical miles west of Gander was enroute to Frankfurt via KANNI YQX 50N 50W at Flight Level 330 and reported that the number 4 engine had developed a compressor problem. The aircraft then requested and received a clearance to return to Bangor at Flight Level 220. There was no traffic and no assistance was required. TSB - NIL
