Summary

2001-10-12: The crew of SGK 681, a Beech King Air, reported an unsafe right main gear indication during approach at Winnipeg. They conducted a fly-by of the Tower, but the status of the landing gear could not be determined due to night-time conditions. SGK 681 landed safely on Runway 18, taxied of the runway at Taxiway Alpha and shut down. CFR stood down at 0135Z. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
2001-10-16: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing advised that Skyward maintenance reported that the wiring on the right hand down and locked microswitch on the a/c was repaired. Landing gear functional checks were carried out. Company also advised M. & M. that an SDR will be submitted.
