Incident at STEINBACH MB (CJB3)


2001-10-04: UPDATE It was later reported that the pilot had some difficulty leaning the mixture while in cruise flight and elected to return. He has apparently rectified the problem and the a/c has been returned to service.
2001-10-03: The pilot of C-GAUA, a Mooney 20, was enroute IFR from Steinbach to Pickle Lake and was 37 nm northeast of Steinbach when he reported engine problems and advised he was returning. The pilot cancelled IFR and continued on a company FITN. Winnipeg FSS reported to TCU that C-GAUA landed at Steinbach at 1735Z. The nature of the engine problem is unknown.
