Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC) (TCAS alert)

Summary

2001-09-04: ARN 8581, an F28, was on vectors to intercept the localizer for Runway 34 at Calgary. Calgary VTA advised CDR 8581 of CNK 33, a Piper Navajo, 3 miles and would be following for the airport and that he may receive a TCAS warning. The pilot of CNK 33 reported CDR 8581 in sight and was instructed to follow and issued a turbulence cautionary. CNK 33 turned final above and behind CDR 8581. CDR 8581 after landing reported a TCAS RA. No other aircraft were involved.
