Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2001-08-28: The Saab 340A-075 was on a training flight in the Calgary area. During a single engine exercise the flight crew observed high torque on the right engine and shut the engine down as a precaution. The aircraft returned to the airport and landed without further incident, with AFF standing by. The engine was examined and ground run following the incident. No discrepancies were identified and the aircraft was returned to service.
