Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2001-08-14: C-FCCM, a Piper PA-30, departed Calgary at 0156Z. The pilot then reported an electrical problem and returned to land at 0207Z without further incident. Three aircraft were delayed up to 10 minutes.
2001-08-31: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the company representative advised that when the landing gear was selected up, the landing gear screw jack drive motor ran continuously. The limit switch set screw had backed out of the mount bracket completely. The gear was selected and actuated to the down position uneventfully. The down limit switch operating correctly. The up limit switch set screw has been replaced, the motor was ground check serviceable. The aircraft has been returned to service.
