Incident at INUVIK / MIKE ZUBKO NT (CYEV)

Summary

2001-08-10: The pilot of C-FBFH, a Bell 206, called Inuvik FSS to report his position inbound to the Inuvik Forestry strip located at Shell Lake. FSS was not aware of the aircraft and when pilot was asked about his flight plan, he responded that he was on a company note. The pilot was advised he must file with NAV CANADA to fly in the ADIZ and he responded he had forgotten.
