Summary

2001-09-05: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that Winnipeg Airport Authority was aware of the bird strke. They have an ongoing wildlife program with constant vigilance for birds. After talking with the Airport Duty manager, he indicated that they were not sure what type of bird but suspected that it was a Hawk. No further action required.
2001-08-10: CMM 2541, a B737, injested a small bird in the #2 engine during the flare while landing on Runway 31 at Winnipeg. The a/c taxied to apron under its own power. The pilot reported no damage to the aircraft and departed on next leg with no problems.
