Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE)

Summary

2001-08-07: CNUK 327, a CC-130 Hercules, was at FL 250 enroute from Edmonton to Sault Ste. Marie and was approximately 15 NM east of Saskatoon (YXE) when the crew advised of pressurization problems, requested descent to 10,000 feet and clearance to return to Edmonton. The flight was cleared as requested. At approximately 2337Z, CNUK 327 was 40 NM west of YXE when the crew advised the a/c had a bleed air problem. They declared an emergency and requested clearance to YXE. The flight landed safely at YXE at 2351Z. No other a/c were inconvenienced.
