Summary

2001-07-26: The crew of ASB 20, an A-26 water bomber, executed a go-around at Whitehorse due to an unsafe gear indication. ASB 20 landed safely a short time later at 0357Z.
2001-07-27: UPDATE TSB reported that the pilot of the A-26B water bomber executed a go-around while on approach to the Whitehorse airport due to an indication of an unsafe gear position. The aircraft landed uneventfully with AFF standing by as a precaution. Company maintenance has determined the problem to be a faulty gear indicator micro switch.
