Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Summary

2001-07-24: Remains of one or more blown tires were discovered at Vancouver. Of the several possible aircraft responsible, one was Air Canada 204 destined for Calgary (YYC). Upon its arrival on Runway 34 at YYC at 1610Z, ERS followed and inspected ACA 204 and reported that there appeared to be no damage to the aircraft. The runway was inspected for debris and declared serviceable at 1620Z. Four other arriving aircraft experienced minor delays as they were directed to Runway 28 while ACA 204 landed on and occupied Runway 34.
